I’ll Miss You, 2009….

But,  I am so ready and excited for 2010!  I can’t even believe we’re starting a new decade..it seems like just yesterday I was sitting on the couch as we closed in on 1999 to begin 2000. Since then, I’ve graduated from high school, married my best friend, had kids, bought a house, graduated from college, started an online business, began my lifelong career, made some of my best friends, loved my family and loved my life. No doubt there’s been difficult times, sad times and times I never want to face again, but without a doubt those tribulations have made me who I am today. They’ve made me look at life differently, appreciate the little things and most importantly, strengthened my relationship with God.

I don’t really make resolutions so to say, but it is always nice to start the year with a fresh set of goals for the upcoming year.  Since I’m a list-maker, here’s my list of goals and aspirations for Twenty-ten (in no particular order..):

1. BLOG. Like, for real, on a consistent, daily (M-F) basis.

2. Spend more time in the Word and with God, becoming more intimate in our relationship.

3. Eating (and drinking!) better. A little less soda and a little more salad….

4. Saving more and spending less. I seriously need a shopaholics anonymous program.

5. Spending more *quality* time with my husband and kids.

6. Have more patience.

7. Continue to educate myself on the ever-changing world of photography.

8. Grow my business. 2009 was AMAZING and I have great hope 2010 can be just as great.

9. Call my mom and dad more for no reason at all.

and last but not least…

10. Truly take one day at a time. May sound silly, but I want to truly appreciate each God-given day down to each minute making sure we know what really matters without worrying about the small stuff.

Welcome Twenty-ten! Hope you’re a good one!!!
